Summary/Abstract: Our contribution aims to present the results of research in the field ofactive learning, to discuss their value and applicability to the FFL class,then to offer suggestions for the implementation of active learningstrategies, while targeting five specific examples of methods: thinkingaloud pair problem solving, the three-step interview, think-pair-share,visible quiz, pass-a-problem and suggesting leads for their application inthe FFL classes. It finally presents the benefits (and limitations) of activemethods, as reflected in current research in the field of education.
