Contribution to the history of physical education and sport in the North-Eastern Borderlands of the Second Polish Republic

Summary/Abstract: The author attempts to describe the history of physical education and sport in pre-war Poland's eastern borderlands. In the years 1918-1939, physical education observed a quick development in those territories. The strongest center of physical education and sport was the Vilnius region. However, in other regions physical education developed far slower.
