Summary/Abstract: During the Homeland War in the area of Vukovarsko-Goranska and Osječko-baranjska County, large volumes of records were destroyed and part of them was taken to Serbia. After the end of the war and the end of a peaceful reintegration into the area under temporary occupation, the recording and saving of the remaining record-keeping material began. Most of the economic gigans such as Kombinat "Borovo", "VUPIK", "Vuteks", and some of the materials of administration, judiciary and healthcare were taken to Serbia. The material that no longer has operational value has been taken over in the State Archives of Osijek and the Archival Collection Center in Vinkovci, and part of it, for its operation, remained in the archives, under constant supervision of the Archive. When sorting the archival material, the excretion was carried out carefully and only over the documentation that expired the legal deadlines and which no longer has power in some evidentiary proceedings. Those documents that expired by the statutory deadlines that could be used in some evidentiary proceedings are not excluded due to the inadvertence of funds and documents with relevant information.
