Modern business analytics for the sustainable development – state, trends, challenges

Summary/Abstract: This article is an attempt to preliminary analysis of modern forms of business intelligence used to support the strategic management for sustainable development. Analyzed scientific publications from scientific databases Scopus and Web of Science. The aim of the article is an overview of current research in the field of business intelligence for sustainable development that integrate strategic management with the strategy of sustainable development. The structure of publications prepared on the basis of a conceptual framework that unites business analytics, strategic management and sustainable development strategy. Process analysis was chosen as a method of identifying approaches to research in such a defined range. The results show that there are common research avenues for the business analytics strategy for sustainable development: evaluation of projects and assessment of their value due to the economic, social and environmental effects.
