Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on the issue of social-emotional learning (SEL) as one of the potential and desirable methods meant to improve the education process of both students and their teachers. A concise presentation of benefits arising from implementation of the SEL idea leads to a postulate referring not only to the need for further analysis of this particular matter, but also to a conclusion that all the steps necessary for the introduction of its’ principles on the ground of Polish education system should be taken as soon as possible.
