The impact of tourism on the sustainable development of Sudeten border mountainous region

Summary/Abstract: Responding to a question whether tourism leads to sustainable development of Sudeten border mountainous region, the differences in the spatial distribution of tourist traffic were analysed and administrative units which are characterized by a high concentration of visitors were selected. Using the example of counties, positive impacts of tourism development on the economic aspects and negative – on the natural environment were demonstrated.
