Hierarchical process versus network and analytical ranks process of Polish voivodships in terms of ICT implementation

Summary/Abstract: The article ranks Polish voivodships in terms of utilization of information and telecommunication technologies in enterprises during the year 2010. In the research, there have been used multi-criteria decision support methods: AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) and ANP (Analytic Network Process). Results, obtained through the two methods, have been then compared, which gave us a clear picture of differences between approaches applied in the process. The algorithms which have been used, enabled the analysis of voivodships’ positions in the ranking with regard to varying advancement of specific areas in the ICT area.
