Summary/Abstract: Objective of the article: To examine the impact of selected factors on the selection and quality assessment Travel agencies and perception of the quality of tourist services. Type of research methodology used: research material constituted Secondary data from the register of UOKiK's illicit provisions and primary data, the results of the survey conducted in 2012 among 1000 people aged 15 Up to 70 years old from all over Poland using the services of travel agencies. The study was used CAPI method. Main results of the study: Only 1/3 of the respondents declared that they were satisfied of the provided tourist services, and that he has confidence in the tourist business operating in Poland. Practical implications: There is a need for related activities with increasing standards of services provided by entrepreneurs as well as informational and educational activities aimed at consumers in order to ensure more effective consumer protection in the tourism services market. Social implications: ensure more effective protection of consumers tourism services market. Category of article: research
