Summary/Abstract: The article researches the existence and ministry of Franciscan friars in the territory of the Soviet Union during 1941–1991. In the light of printed sources, the historical – geographical view of ministry and its type is portrayed. The findings are reflected in the conclusion and portrayed in tables and map.
