Summary/Abstract: The year 2015 was declared by the Romanian Patriarchy the tribute year of the outstanding personality of St. John Chrysostom (Chrysostom), which is why, in this study, I have highlighted the power of divine inspiration on the homiletic writings of Father John of Antioch. I have emphasized how St. John understood the revealed word of God found in the pages of the Holy Scripture, as he himself regularly read the Holy Scripture, and especially the extraordinary way in which the Holy Father was able to describe so literal and simple the mysterious character of the simple text explained for all those who seek to know God. This is why, in the history of Christianity he is recognized as "Chrysostom of the Church," the writer of homiletic writings from the Holy Scriptures par excellence, the absolute interpreter of sacred text, both in word and in life.
