Summary/Abstract: The article considers the concept of personality as it is presented in the phenomenology of German philosopher Max Scheler, who elaborated this concept within the frameworks of his axiological ethics in polemics with Kant’s rationalistic approach to man. Also the article indicates the differences in the concept of personality noticeable in the early and late Scheler’s writings.
