Particularities of Crimes Subjects, having Effects on Traffic Safety

Summary/Abstract: The issue of the subject of traffic crimes has not so far been the subject-matter of separate study in Bulgarian criminal law doctrine. That is the reason why this paper studies the particular features of the subject, shown in the various legal provisions under Part II of Chapter XI of the Criminal Code. The analysis shows that the issue of the particular features of the subject of traffic crimes reveals certain specificities, which reflect the legislative understanding of the nature of traffic crimes in given period of time. Nowadays traffic crimes may be committed by both drivers of various means of transportation and any person subject of criminal liability, having certain obligations with regard to traffic safety.
