The Hidden Local Debt – Reasons, Effects, Countermeasure

Summary/Abstract: In the paper there is discussed the essence of the hidden debt of territorial self-government entities in Poland. There are pointed out some reasons and effects of that debt. There are also proposed some solutions to reduce that debt, to sustain good financial condition of territorial self-government entities and to ensure transparency of local finance.
