Summary/Abstract: The Bedouin is a very complex and extremely interesting character in our era, maybe also because of his contradictory spirit. Along the time, around the world, confusion was created regarding the origins of Bedouins and especially the origin of Islam. This article tries to clarify the image of the Bedouins and gives a short description of the Arabic language spoken by Bedouins.
