BALLAD AS CAPITAL VALUE OF POPULAR SONG

Summary/Abstract: Here are analyzed Sadri Fetiu’s three study books on popular literature, thus not entire his work. Here are treated author’s studies on Albanian folk ballad with the more serious and focused devotion for ballad to be seen as qualitative value of popular composition. To this major problem were dedicated two books, in which were conducted special researching and analyses. In his writing on ballads were summarized results of the studies done until present time, then there were made poetic-stylistic and structural compositional analyses with the purpose of discerning function, the role and the message that it has conveyed for a long time. In scientific theoretical ascertains he was always careful to bring sufficient facts of his achieved results which were original as well as well as examples of ballads which concretize real arts of song genre. Ballad, as an old genre of song, has its specific features of poetical discourse, has a special compositional structure, has it components that distinguish it from other song genders and the are lyrical, epic and dramatic components with connotation of pane and magnificent tragic act. Ballad was studied also in relation to other sorts and genders of popular literature and it is noticed there was noticed its penetration in these sorts, as well as its ability to assimilate their components. Anciently of the ballad brought to present days facts on our national cultural-historical tradition, which empower autochthony of this sort and our ethnic autochthony. Those mithotological and ethno psychological facts make unquestionable the originality of Albanian ballad. Expressions of art here are main lyrical, epic and dramatic components which the events do construct with emotions and tragicallity. These components are testified to be values of consistent and art and its longevity. Because of the circumstances in which lived and continue to live some parts of Albanian territories outside mother country, the ballad continues to be created, especially those with the motive of migration and of soldiers which serve in ruling countries.
