MARIN DRINOV – LIFE AND WORK. CONTRIBUTIONS TO PAISIJ OF HILANDAR KNOWLEDGE

Summary/Abstract: The point of this work is to attach importance of Prof. Marin Drinov’s activity in Bulgarian humanities, in particular Paisij of Hilandar knowledge. An attention is paid in some of his fundamental works about Bulgarian history and Paisij of Hilandar as a beginning of Bulgarian National Revival period. It have been mentioned his contributions to writing rules, known as Drinov’s orthography, his dealings with Prof. Ivan Shishmanov and Drinov’s paradigm in Bulgarian literature.
