Summary/Abstract: The paper undertakes deliberations concerning the European consumer. In the paper the problems related to a concept of consumer on the Euro market are discussed. The issues of the impact of European integration and standardizing conditions of Euro market on creation of the concept of Euro consumer and the typologies of Euro-Consumers are presented based on the theories of life style. Moreover, elements supporting the congruousness of attitudes and behaviors of the European consumers are presented, for example the uniform policy of consumer protection in the EU. Then there are presented the diversities of consumers, still present in the countries of EU; which is especially connected with an accession of the new member countries to the structure of EU. In that context the selected factors are presented concerning, among others: economic and demographic diversities of consumers and the structure of households in particular countries of the European Union.
