Summary/Abstract: The aim of the research is to investigate whether there is a meaningful difference in the burn-up level of the prospective teachers attending to the class teacher, social sciences, turkish language, mathematic and pre-school departments at Education Faculty of Amasya University related to the different variables such as gender, the department they are attending, income level of their families, and the place where they come from. The sample of the research consists of 206 prospective teachers. As a data collecting tool, Maslach Burn-up Envantary- Student Format developed by Schaufeli et. al (2002) and translated into Turkish by Çapri, Gündüz and Gökçakan (2011) was used. The obtained data was analysed by using descriptive statistical method, t test and One Way ANOVA. The applied burn-up envantary involves three sub- dimensions which are burn-up, desensitiation and competence. When their gender and the place where they come from are investigated related to these three sub-dimensions, there seen no meaningful difference whereas the department they are attending depicts a statistically difference. Related to the income of the families variable, it shows statistically meaningful /difference at the desensitiation sub-dimension but it does not have any meaningful difference at burn-up and competence sub dimensions.
