The system of values of secondary school students based on the self-conducted research

Summary/Abstract: The system of values of young people who enter adult life may undergo changes in reference to the experience and age. The home and the school are the places which – with regard to their functions - should bring up and educate youth in the spirit of respect for the fundamental values indispensable for the proper functioning of communities and individuals. It is exceptionally crucial nowadays, when so much is being spoken and written about the crisis of the family, the so-called ‘euro-orphanage’ (the loneliness of Polish children whose parents work abroad) and the Internet, which more and more often replaces direct contacts and conversations of young people with their coevals
