The Current Taks of Press History Research

Summary/Abstract: This text was lectured on the Third National Congress on Press Research. The author suggests four primary tasks of press history research: the definition, redefinition and distortion if the Romanian democracy, the recent history of the Romanian press, the virtual museum of the Romanian press,and histories of the press. The scientific elaboration of these projects would make possible the better understanding of recent history happenings, and would save from traceless disappearancein the mist of history a lot of valuable documents, whitnesses and institutions.
