Measurement and evaluation of achievements of Szczecin and Świnoujście Seaports Authority

Summary/Abstract: In the article, issues relating to the evaluation of activities of entities managing seaports are presented as viewed through the prism of their achievements. The currently used by the company system of measurement and evaluation of achievements has been described and the need for the implementation of up-to-date solutions has been indicated. The author has presented a suggestion of implementation of a balanced scorecard as the instrument serving the purpose of multidimensional evaluation of the company’s operation.
