NEW SAMIAN WARE FINDS FROM THE CANABAE LEGIONIS OF AQUINCUM

Summary/Abstract: In this article we publish the Samian ware found during two excavations: the first was carried out at 9, 11, 13-15 and 17-19 Bokor street (referred to, in the followings, as Bokor–Galagonya) (Fig. 1), the second one is the excavation at the corner of Lajos street–Nagyszombat street (Lajos–Nagyszombat). A part of the latter has already been published by Mr Péter Vámos (Fig. 2).
