Summary/Abstract: Kinaesthetics describes feedback from the body that gives the individual an awareness of their bodily position in space. It includes muscles, joints, the other five senses and also the inner ear which allows the body to determine if it’s the right way up! Thus, kinaesthetics is sometimes described as being the sixth sense. Kinesthetic learning is a learning style in which learning takes place by the student actually carrying out a physical activity, rather than listening to a lecture or merely watching a demonstration. It is also referred to as tactile learning. People with a kinesthetic learning style are also commonly known as do-ers. The employees of the relief service of the Archdiocese of Alba Iulia, Caritas Alba Iulia met with kinaesthetics in 2002. A group of 15 people started the home care service of Caritas Alba Iulia.
