Environmental protection expenditure accounts (EPEA) as module of european environmental economic accounts

Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to present the results of a pilot project on environmental protection expenditure accounts, conducted in Poland in 2014. The EPEA is compatible with the ESA standards and encompasses the entire national economy, according to activity sectors: governmental institutions, business, environmental services, and households. Data are collected in nine categories of environmental protection.
