Summary/Abstract: The Oral history is a practice, a research method that has been implementing in many areas of life practice during many decades, but also in many human sciences. By Oral history we mean the act of recording the words of people who have something interesting to say, recording their memories related to a past event and then analyzing these materials. Memory and narrative connect history with folklore and thus develop the oral history. Methods and materials that derive from the practice of oral history have been present to some extent in the past, but are not always called oral history and have not always been acceptable and adaptable to many disciplines. The presence of research subjects often brings folklore to oral history, but the concepts and methodology differentiate their approaches to the same subject matter. In this paper, we will treat this relation, by looking at relationships in academic practice, as well.
