Summary/Abstract: The article examines some aspects of helping families with children at risk. The risk of inequality as a social problem is differentiated and the families with children at risk are defined on these base. The main family functions and stages in family relations, typical for a relatively healthy family are analyzed. Dysfunctions in the family structure are revealed on the basis of standard. They require specific social support to help the family interaction and optimization of relationships in families with children at risk.
