Miljenko Jergović in and about Poland — Notes in the Margin while Discussing „Wilimowski” the Novel

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is the synthetic review of Miljenko Jergović’s presence in Poland: Polish translations of his literary works and writer’s connections with Poland. In this regard, the paper concentrates on “the most Polish” of his books, the novel entitled „Wilimowski”. There are shown, among others, the sources of Jergović’s interest in Poland, circumstances of „Wilimowski”’s several editions and reception of the novel in Poland.
