Virtualization of Logistics Processes Management in the Integrated Supply Chains

Summary/Abstract: Virtualization of logistics processes is a key to the future of supply chains. Globalbusiness development needs are strongly built on the basis of new technologies. Customersrequire faster and more accurate service. Due to that supply chains need to be moreresponsive and act with higher quality. Presented paper shows development of logistics andsupply chain during last decades. There is presented evolution of information systems usedin logistics and its applications. Moreover, there are presented new solutions for logisticsprocesses management with usage of new technologies. There was also done research ofthe last innovative approaches to supply chain operations.
