Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is an attempt to assess the impact of aging population on Polish capital turnover with foreign countries over the next fifty years. Literature analysis, comparative analysis of old-age measures and logical inference were carried out for the purpose. The research results show that the forecasted high level of advancement of the aging proces in the period 2020-2065 implies an increase in the demand for foreign capital and a deterioration/negative current account balance. The inflow of foreign capital, induced by the aging of the population, may not, however, translate into the expected maintenance/increase in the pace of economic growth, and on the contrary - it may become the cause of developmental difficulties in the subsequent periods.
