Importance of startups building for the creation of intelligent cities

Summary/Abstract: A development of entrepreneurship has an important impact in terms of building structures of smart city. A special role is played by startups, innovative ventures. Due to the innovative business profile, startups use different and more diversified channels of influence on the economy or society. Moreover, their impact on the economy seems to be crucial from the point of view of building social capital. The aim of the article is to present the preliminary research conducted by the authoress, in cooperation with the Wroclaw Agglomeration Development Agency, where the ecosystem of startups in Wroclaw was presented.
