Summary/Abstract: The present article discusses the increasing ideologization of journalistic products and the reasons creating conditions for expansion of partisan news-making, and how they lead to erosion of liberal traditions in journalism. What is more, the article analyzes the ideologization of media content as a trend, which threatens the professional model of journalism. The focus is on cases where the commercialization of the media process fosters ideological practices within the media system.
