Summary/Abstract: The relevance of the study is attributed to a number of contradictions: on the one hand, the increasing demands of normative documents that determine the formation of didacticcompetence of teachers’ college students as the most important professional component among one ofthe priority tasks; on the other hand, the necessity to create theoretical and methodological groundsfor the formation of didactic competence of teachers’ college students in the process of independentwork. The purpose of the study is the justification and approbation of the developed pedagogicalconditions for the formation of didactic competence of teachers’ college students in the process ofindependent work. The results of the research can form the basis for subsequent work, such as thestudy of problems associated with the formation of didactic competence of teachers’ college students inthe process of pedagogical practice, in the system of further education, etc.
