Summary/Abstract: Felt is one of the important handicrafts that lasted from the past of the Turks to the present day and has been tried to be increased day by day with the different materials, designs and processes. Today, unlike traditional uses and processes, in the design and production of felt products some finishing operations to provide easy and aesthetic use are being carried out or attempted by craftsmen or artists, but these are not reflected in the researches. For this reason, the discovery of the finishing processes and their application process, hardware required for these operations are investigated. In the research; survey method was used. The sample of the study consisted of 33 felt craftsman working in felt workplaces in Ankara, Konya, Afyon and Izmir. Questionnaire used as data collection tool. As a result of the research; It is observed that during use of felt most encountered with the fiber pouring, the most applied finishing process to give aesthetic appearance is the edge smoothing, the most applied finishing process to give different features is the mothproofing finishing processing has been performed. When it comes to products; burning and razor blade cleaning, ironing, press molds and steam shaping have been performed in felt workplaces.
