Mbi librin “Vështrim i parë mbi Teorinë e Komunikimit” dhe dy pikëvështrime të lidhura me Shqipërinë
On “A first Look on communication theories” and two approaches related to Albania

Summary/Abstract: “A first look to communication” is one of the most important textbooks in different universities in the USA and Em Griffin, as his author, has become a guru of theories of communication. As a lecturer of communication at EUT, I could say that this book has been quite useful to me even in those years when we were trying to bring it in Albanian. This is a great news for the students, as it is the first complete text in this field of study, but also for the lecturers, because it creates a strong basis for further research in studying communication. In this short essay we are going to give some details and aspects about the chapter 38 and 39 that were written by us. We have translated in Albanian the 9th edition of this book and in some cases we have brought examples, cases and studies from previous editions. For example the 18th chapter that talks about the Adaptation theory elaborated by Marshall Scott Poole, is taken from the 8th edition of the book. Same stands true for some movies and illustrations that the audience in Albania is familiar too. The language of the textbook is easy yet satisfying, a principle that has been kept during its translation and editing process in our language.
