Summary/Abstract: This paper aims to reassess the present cultural globalization’s challenges such as: ideological culture of consumerism, transnational cultural exchange and the relativism of ethno-cultural identities, in correlation with the global communication that are a result of implementation of latest technology, and pluralism of media products. Based on empirical facts on the effects of globalism in the Albanian media environment, the author presents some of the main challenges that the Albanian society will face in the near future, connected with substantive vectors of the global media and their actual exposure in the native one.
