Summary/Abstract: Third Convention of Geneva of 1949, guidelines, boundaries, rules, rights of prisoners of war and obligations of parties captures and seniority of these regulations, we may be tempted to consider that the issue of prisoners of war is resolved for a long time. However, the extent to which conventional provisions apply is questioned further, along with the several conflicts in the world. Rules of international humanitarian law represents those rules of conduct mandatory subjects of international law setting out the rights and duties in protecting human rights in times of armed conflict. International law contains rules which, although specific war are compatible with other rules of international law or domestic; for example, the rules of human rights, peace or law in case of military occupation occupied state laws because the occupant has the obligation.
