Summary/Abstract: Design as problem solving and thinking activity, transforms ideas into design structures through design process appropriate to design strategies. Systematic design techniques are concluded to be more scientific and easy to manipulate when compared to classical design techniques. Conceptual Design method, one of the most applied models to solve complex engineering design problems, has been introduced as the beginning phase of the well-known prescriptive design process in 1984, later became as one of the most frequently used design methods. By the help of various decisions making systems and using the previous solutions of the similar problems, the structure of the relevant problem becomes lucid and thus, the most difficult textile design problems can be solved. The main focus of this research is to create a textile collection by using Conceptual Design steps and while doing this to explain an analytic and un-intuitive methodology to be used as conceptual textile design methods.
