Summary/Abstract: The concept of resilience is similar in some ways to the idea of capacity. It reflects both the fact that people can have an amazing ability to return to their original state after they have hit a danger, and also their ability not to be victimized deserves to be recognized.Resilience implies the ability of systems to restart quickly after a hazard has hit, and they have the capacity to "adapt existing resources and have the skills needed for new operating conditions"What is resilience?
