Summary/Abstract: Interjections (as language gestures, possibly in combination with nonverbal gestures) are considered as an expression of emotions in Russian and Bulgarian within anthropocentric framework of linguistic analysis. Different types of transpositions with interjections across different parts-of-speech are illustrated by examples from spoken language, literary texts and chat sessions. A hypothesis for new grammatical process of conversion in Spoken Russian is described. Interjections in the function of expressive predicates show the language tendency to economy and expressiveness in oral speech.
