Thirty years creative development of the Institute of Psychology - BAS

Summary/Abstract: The development of the department of Psychology, established in 1973 is tracked out. Three stages are differentiated in its constructive development as a scientific organisation, starting as a Laboratory of Psychology, going through a Central Laboratory and since 1990 — as an Institute of Psychology. On each stage a step forward is made in the growth of its research associates to a new organisational and scientific level. The Institute of Psychology — BAS now is a centre for psychological researches that has a certain prestige in Bulgaria and serious aspirations to reach a European level.
