Summary/Abstract: Organized crime and corruption are the life support of terrorism, together representing asymmetric threats to the security of the international community, which must not be considered separately but in a deeper interaction given by the fluctuating nature of both transnational phenomena, the use of violent methods and tactics to achieve the objectives proposed (even if the motivations are different) and involvement in criminal business in order to camouflage illegal activities and money laundering.
