Borrowing needs of the public sector entities.

Summary/Abstract: The article introduces the issue of borrowing needs of public sector units in Poland, i.e. an economic indicator that shows their financial health. In the first part of the article, the author introduces the notion of borrowing needs and its legal definition. Next, the characteristics of borrowing needs of the state budget and other public sector units are analysed.
