Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the main regulations in the field of health and safety at work in some European countries, namely: France, Germany and Greece. Account is taken of the main obligations of employers, workers in this field. It also outlines how Directive 89/391/EEC on the implementation of measures to promote improvements in the safety and health of workers at work has been transposed and implemented in those States.
