Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is theoretical-empirical presentation of logistics processes in the field of transport. The theoretical part of the work contains the essence of logistics processes with particular emphasis on logistics processes in the field of transport (transport processes). The concept of process and logistics was defined, then the logistic process and the transport process. The practical part of the article presents the SOOT – Internet transport portal, whose task is to improve, optimize and control logistics processes in the area of transport. The work also presents the calculation of the financial usefulness of the SOOT system in the company X.
