Sustainable Development of Enterprises from the TSL Sector in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe – a Comparative Analysis

Summary/Abstract: The main goal of the article is to attempt to estimate the sustainable development of enterprises from the TSL (Transport-Shipping-Logistics) sector in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe in 2008–2016 with the forecast for 2017–2019. The article was divided into a theoretical and practical part. The first part of the work is based on the subject literature and referred to the theoretical aspect of sustainable development, sustainable development of the company. The second part of the work is empirical. A comparative analysis was carried out, to which data from the European Statistical Office were used. Synthetic indicators of sustainable development of enterprises from the TSL sector in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe were created, a comparative analysis and a forecast for 2017–2019 were carried out.
