Risk Assessment in Organization of International Trade of Goods

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present a risk assessment study in the international commodity trade, based on an example of a customs agency. It is also to present conclusions for the development of risk response procedures. The main tasks of the customs agency and the legal aspects governing their functioning are presented in the paper. The analysis of material flows and information in the international context is based on a questionnaire survey in relation to the customs clearance procedure conducted at the agency. A survey conducted among respondents allowed for risk analysis using the Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA) methodology and the development of recommendations for risk management in the logistic processes.
