Summary/Abstract: Motivation is a key factor supporting the increase in the work efficiency of employees, and hence the factor enabling the successive functioning of the enterprise on the market. The purpose of the article is to indicate what forms of motivating employees actually translate into an increase in their involvement. The issues of motivation were identified and its impact on the level of employee involvement in the duties performed was indicated. In addition to the theoretical content regarding forms of motivation and commitment, a case study was carried out to indicate the relationship between the ways employees are motivated and their involvement in the duties performed. The final part of the article presents the results of the research carried out in December 2017 on a sample of 100 people working in an international corporation.
