Summary/Abstract: The architecture is a profession that encompasses the production process along with the design process. It should have a multi-disciplinary approach and should be able to fully respond to the needs, wishes and expectations of the user profile with the right solutions. The architectural product is a building and must be designed by the architect in accordance with its function. Educational structures have a wide scope. The university building, which differs according to kindergarten, primary school, classroom or area, should be designed according to its needs program and function schemes. The training buildings designed with the correct needs can be used efficiently for many years. In this study, in terms of approach to building design process and relationship between architectural design, the approach process to design of Kocaeli University, Kocaeli Vocational School Technical Programs building will be introduced. The aim is to provide an example of new works followed in the design of the vocational school building which is used efficiently.
