Summary/Abstract: The objective of the paper is a comparative analysis of the results of own research based on a survey carried out for the first time in 2012 and then in 2018. The analysis was aimed at creating the image of a 50+ employee based on the opinions of women and men aged at least 18 years. The main objective of the research was to get to know the opinions of young people (up to 29 years of age) about the perception of employees from the 50+ segment. The image was complemented by the presentation of opinions of people aged 30‒49, as well as people who were at least 50 years old. The specific objective was to define parameters that adversely affect the perception of employees aged 50+ by these age groups. Examples of occupations were presented, which, in the opinion of respondents, should not be performed by employees from the 500 segment and those which they will perform better than people from the Y and Z generation. Relationships between the young and mature generation in knowledge exchange, skills and represented employee attitudes were described. The collected data were described using descriptive statistics methods, determining the selected average and position measures, and drawing up appropriate tables.
