Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the problem of increasing the creative potential of employees as a challenge facing organizations. Organizations that are looking for sources of growth in their innovation. The article assumes that the growth of creative potential is the interest of the majority of professionally active people, because it increases their employability. The study identifies mentoring as a tool for developing creative competences. It also indicates the conditions that should be met in order for the relationship between the mentor and the protege to contribute to the achievement of the intended development goals. The article shows that the process of developing these specific competencies requires the selection of appropriate forms (variations) of mentoring.
